Have you stopped searching for awhile and are back?

Please check the laws for your state you are searching in. So many states have new laws. So ask or check it by googling the name of the state and "adoption laws." Let me know if you need help with this.

For example: Illinois has new laws.........

http://www.newillinoisadoptionlaw.com/

Colorado has some years open now. Maine, New Hampshire, Alaska is open, Kansas is open.

However in the open states, its important for the adoptees to put Notarized consent forms, so if you want to be contacted by anyone who checks with those states. Otherwise the parents and siblings from open states, won't be given your new identity to which they can find you.
